Ben Spector

As Head Instructor of the Software Engineering Fellowship, Ben strategically updates and upgrades the curriculum according to shifting industry standards, manages the Technical Instructors for the SE Fellowship at Marcy, and provides direct instruction to Fellows.

Prior to joining Marcy in 2022, Ben studied computer science, taught web development at OperationSpark in New Orleans, and worked as a curriculum developer at Codecademy.

Outside of Marcy, Ben enjoys being active and playing various sports, including soccer, tennis, rock climbing, and skiing. He also plays the guitar or piano whenever he can and enjoys reading and cooking.
