Marquise Martin

Marquise Martin is the Senior Director of Recruitment & Admissions at The Marcy Lab School, where he leads the strategy, systems, and team responsible for building a strong and mission-aligned pipeline of future Fellows. A builder and strategist at his core, he brings clarity to complex enrollment challenges, develops structures that scale, and ensures that Marcy’s recruitment and admissions work reflects both excellence and equity. His approach centers on data-informed decision-making, collaborative planning, and a deep belief in the potential of the young people Marcy serves.

Prior to joining the Marcy team, Marquise spent more than 15 years leading high-performing admissions, sales, and partnerships teams across education and workforce development organizations. His career includes senior roles at Victory Lap, Flockjay, Flatiron School, and other institutions where he consistently grew teams, strengthened systems, and expanded opportunities for learners pursuing meaningful career paths. His work has always been rooted in access, mobility, and widening pathways to economic opportunity.

Outside of work, Marquise is fueled by travel, wellness, and the joy of a good home-cooked meal. He can often be found in the gym, at the spa, or in the kitchen creating memories “one bite at a time.” At the heart of everything he does is family—his greatest source of purpose, passion, and inspiration.
