Michael Oppong

Michael Oppong is Director of Alumni Success at The Marcy Lab School, where he helps Fellows transition into thriving tech careers. He builds partnerships with employers to support alumni and creates programs that sustain the strong community Fellows build during the Fellowship—ensuring graduates have the support and connections they need as they navigate their early careers.

Before joining Marcy, Michael served as a Product Manager at Multiverse and National Program Director at Code Nation, where he equipped students from under-resourced schools with the skills and connections necessary to break into tech. He started his career teaching middle and high school English in his hometown of Newark, NJ, as a Teach for America corps member—an experience that shaped his commitment to opening doors for underestimated young people.

Outside of work, Michael co-founded Talent Lab Solutions, cares for his 20+ plants, and can be found hitting the bags at Rumble.
