Najette Swain

Najette Swain leads institutional and individual giving at The Marcy Lab School, connecting our mission with a community of supporters who believe in creating alternative pathways to higher education. She develops and drives Marcy’s fundraising strategy, manages key donor relationships, and works closely with partners to translate the impact of our Fellows’ success into stories that inspire continued investment in our work and our vision for the future.

Before joining Marcy in 2021, Najette held development roles at the Si-Yo Music Foundation and The Johns Hopkins University. These experiences deepened her commitment to educational programs that open doors for young adults and strengthened her belief in the power of collective responsibility and connectivity to drive meaningful change in communities.

Outside of Marcy, Najette is a lifelong musician, and you can catch her playing the cello at Carnegie Hall, on Broadway, or at a friend’s wedding. When she is not performing, she is likely training for her first triathlon, running through Prospect Park, or at swim practice.
