Phoebe Williams

Phoebe Williams is Marcy Lab’s first Chief Operating Officer, focused on organizational strategy and growth. Her priority is ensuring that systems, functions, and talent work seamlessly together.

For more than twenty years, her career has centered on expanding economic mobility, particularly for young adults. Prior to joining Marcy, she held leadership roles in the nonprofit, K–12, and national service sectors, including at Year Up United, Chicago Public Schools, and Americorps. Her experience includes launching sites and programs nationwide, leading turnaround and programmatic quality improvement efforts, building cross-sector alliances, revamping school discipline with restorative justice practices, and driving organizational change.

A licensed clinical social worker, Phoebe holds a master’s degree from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree from Emory University. In her free time, she loves exploring natural wonders with her family and proudly cheers on her two sons as a devoted soccer mom.
