Tiernan Walsh

Tiernan leads employer partnerships and placement strategy at The Marcy Lab School, connecting Fellows with high-impact careers in software engineering and data analytics. His work focuses on building sustainable pathways between emerging talent and mission-driven employers through systems, strategy, and relationship-driven partnerships.

Before joining Marcy, Tiernan spent nearly 15 years leading local and national employer partnerships at Per Scholas, where he built employer networks and scaled placement operations across multiple markets.

Originally from Dublin, Tiernan now calls Brooklyn home with his wife, three daughters (ages 8, 10, and 13), and their dog, Willa, a Bichapoo. He enjoys live music, reading history, and movies at the Film Forum.
